Who do you teach?
I teach singers of all ages and levels—from complete beginners to experienced vocalists preparing for auditions, performances, or college programs.
What styles of music do you teach?
I focus on healthy technique that can be applied across styles, but I love working on classical, pop, and contemporary genres.
Do I need any prior experience to take lessons?
Not at all! Whether you’ve been singing for years or are just starting out, I’ll meet you where you are.
What if I'm having a flare-up or low-energy day?
We'll shift to a gentle toning, mental rehearsal, or vocal guided imagery- so you still feel connection, even on tough days.
Can I take just one lesson, or do I need to commit to a package?
I offer both individual lessons and recurring weekly slots. I recommend consistent lessons for growth, but I’m happy to work with your schedule.
I worry about overdoing it- how do I avoid vocal strain and exhaustion?
My teaching integrates pacing, somatic awareness, and vocal health check-ins so you can sing with confidence and care.
Do you work with singers who have medical or physical conditions?
Absolutely. I have personal experience with chronic illness (Ehlers-Danlos and Endometriosis) and understand the importance of pacing, breath management, and flexibility. My goal is always to help students sing with ease, not pressure.
What's your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Emergencies happen—I just ask for communication.
I have a flexible/unpredictable schedule. Can you work with that?
I totally get it—especially with chronic illness, school, or work. I offer flexible scheduling when possible, and I’m happy to work with you.
I get nervous singing in front of people...can lessons still help?
Definitely. We’ll work on building confidence, not just vocal technique. My studio is a safe, encouraging space to grow.
